A reputable health system is actively seeking a Hospital Director of Pharmacy to join their Texas team.

The Hospital Director of Pharmacy join the Texas market. The Hospital Director of Pharmacy will oversee all inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, reporting to the Market VP of Operations.Responsibilities of the Hospital Director of Pharmacy include managing medication safety, quality assurance, hospital compliance, and overall daily operations. The Hospital Pharmacy Director is also responsible for growing the department through hiring, developing short term and long term initiatives, maintaining quality metrics, and ensuring regulatory compliance, and enforcing policy procedures.
Ideally, the Hospital Pharmacy Director will have hospital pharmacy leadership experience overseeing inpatient hospital pharmacy services, experience preparing all survey and accreditation material, prior Joint Commission experience, and experience managing large department budgets. Additionally, this individual must hold their Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) or equivalent.
