Job Summary: The Neurovascular ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for independently planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing care using standards, policies, and procedures. The RN will provide direct nursing care to patients, take on teaching and leadership roles, and participate in unit committee and quality improvement activities.

• Provide safe, effective, and responsible nursing services
• Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds (MDRs) Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in critical care or providing care to neurocritical care population
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
  • BSN is preferred
  • Certification in specialty is strongly preferred
  • BLS certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ALS certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • All candidates must complete ENLS Emergency Neurological Life Support education within 1 year of hire and maintain certification
