Job Description:

Title- Senior Java Developer

Location- MUST be local to New York City(hybrid: 2-3 days in NYC)
Duration- 6 months+

End client- Mizuho

Rate- $900-950/day

Interview- likely video interview for now, but subject to change)

Visa- GC or USC

Key skills: Java, heavy Capital Markets (pref Derivatives)

This is for a foreign securities trading firm

Hands on Senior Java Developer with over 6 years of enterprise development experience.

Work with multiple business lines and on occasion manage small projects.

Qualifications:

Experience Java Developer (JDK 8 or 11)

Apache Camel (Version 3)

REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)

Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management)

Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)

JMS (Active MQ or similar)

MS SQL Server and/or Sybase experience.

Plus: Experience with Capital Markets and understanding how Derivatives instruments are valued.

Plus: Murex API

Plus: Python.

Fixed income, derivatives, or Capital Markets experience

Education

Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science
