Job DescriptionJob Summary:Avail Solutions provides mental health services for crisis (suicide) calls.As a 988 Crisis Worker, you will establish rapport using an empathetic approach to assess whether the caller is having a mental health crisis. Many callers simply need a friendly voice.You will be trained to assist and support callers with anxiety, depression, suicidal, homicidal, and psychotic thoughts/behaviors. The 988 Crisis Worker will document calls with relevant information in an electronic record system.Requirements:

Fluent EnglishHigh school graduateComputer literate and pass a typing test with a minimum score of 30 WPM with 90% accuracy.Communicate clearly using verbal and written skills.Work in a call center environment. (This position is NOT remote.)Pass a background check.Work every other weekend with four days off during a two-week work schedule.Benefits:

Starting pay is $18.00/hourBilingual (Spanish) additional $1.10/hrDifferential pay for 4 PM to 12 AM: $1.00/hrDifferential pay for 12 AM to 8 AM: $2.00/hrPaid Time Off is accrued at 16 days for first year of employment and 19 days after first year.SIMPLE IRA Retirement PlanMedical Insurance available after 60 days of employment.Schedule: (Available shifts determined on the needs of the company.)

Night Shift: 12:00 a.m.- 8:30 a.m. five days a week, to include every other weekendDay Shift: 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. five days a week, to include every other weekendEvening Shift: 4:00 p.m.- 12:30 a.m. five days a week, to include every other weekend -Education:
