Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Christus Health. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures under minimal supervision, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound imaging equipment. You will also be responsible for documenting calibration procedures, coordinating with radiologists, and ensuring accurate charging and billing.Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of high-quality ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound.
• Document calibration procedures for individual imaging equipment.
• Coordinate with radiologists to perform invasive biopsy procedures.
• Ensure accurate charging and billing for all procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that the ultrasound room is adequately supplied and equipment is in good working order.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Radiology Medical Director.Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year scanning experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, and Breast Ultrasound.
  • ARDMS or ARRT/Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year.
  • LRST/ARRT Radiologic Technology License preferred.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.Work ScheduleTBAWork TypePer Diem As Needed
