Job Summary: Patient Access Representative
Patient Access Representatives facilitate a seamless patient experience, ensuring accurate data entry and efficient access to hospital services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

As a Patient Access Representative, you will be responsible for:

• 
  
• Accurately inputting patient demographic and financial information
  
• Verifying insurance eligibility and obtaining necessary authorizations
  
• Calculating and collecting patient portions based on benefits and contract reimbursement
  
• Performing financial assessments for program assistance
  
• Communicating with patients, families, physicians, and insurance companies
  
• Representing the Patient Access department in a professional and courteous manner
  
• Assisting with disaster response and supporting flexible department needs
  
• Completing required training and maintaining standard processes
  
• Working with High Performance Work Teams to maintain a clean and orderly workplace
  
• Providing feedback and identifying educational needs
  
• Adapting assessment and treatment methods to accommodate unique patient needs
  
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards
  
  
  Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
    
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred
